WHAT WE DO
Think of us as your family’s CFO
We’re here to bring the same thoughtfulness to your finances that you’ve brought to your career, family, and future. Whether you’re thinking about retirement, preparing for life’s next chapter, or simply wondering if you’re on the right track, we’ll help you make more confident financial decisions.
We bring the structure, discipline, expertise, and accountability that most people struggle to create on their own.
Retirement Planning
We’ll model your retirement roadmap based on your long term goals, concerns, and living needs.
Investment Management
We build and manage portfolios designed around your timeline, risk tolerance, and tax situation.
Tax Strategy
We work with your CPA (or help you find one) to reduce what you owe and keep more of what you’ve earned.
Estate Planning
Wills, trusts, beneficiaries, and all the paperwork that comes with it — we’ll help you get it done and cross it off the list.
Business Planning
We help business owners build toward what they want — the right team, the right structure, and a plan — to build value for when you’re ready to sell, step away, or pass it on.
What’s on your mind?
Market dips, new accounts, a big decision, a life change — if it’s financial, we want to hear about it and help.
OUR METHOD
Building your plan
We’ll guide you through a process designed to uncover what’s important, identify opportunities, and help you make confident decisions. We bring: The structure, experience, and questions you may not know to ask. You bring: Your goals, concerns, priorities, and pace.
Before we start
Before starting, we want to understand what’s important to you (or you & your partner). It differs for everyone.
Meeting 1: What you have
Read more
We dive in with a goal to understand all the details. We gather data, map your accounts, and get organized.
Meeting 2: What you want
Read more
We explore your goals and competing priorities. For many, the biggest challenge is balancing what matters now with what they’ll want in the future.
Meeting 3: How are you doing
Read more
This is where things start to come together. We’ll show you where you stand, and what risks and opportunities could affect your goals.
Meetings 4-6(ish): What to do
Read more
Where planning becomes action. We’ll start filling gaps and acting on opportunities—from tax planning and investments to estate planning and cash flow decisions.
The work doesn’t stop between meetings
Through this process you’ll have:
- A dedicated point person who knows your situation
- Collaborative task lists and follow-through
- Structured guidance that adapts as life changes
- Accountability when priorities compete
- Ongoing support for major life decisions:
job changes
new family member
move
big purchase
loss
selling a business
market uncertainty
Planning isn’t a one-time event

Life will move on, but we’ll never be far. We’ll move with you through each season. Some parts of the year are predictable (tax planning, reviews, rebalancing, estate plan checkups) and others aren’t. Financial planning isn’t just about creating a plan. It’s about continually adapting it as life changes so you can still meet your goals.

For Business Owners
If you own a business, your plan has another layer
Many financial planners treat your business as a footnote. We build a plan that accounts for both, because what happens in your business directly shapes your personal wealth, retirement, and options.
Business
Future
Business Planning
We help you set the strategy, priorities, and financial structure that keep the business moving toward your goals.
Continuity Planning
We help build the agreements and structures that keep the business running through a leadership change, an ownership transition, or the unexpected.
Exit Planning
We map out how and when you leave (and what it’s worth to you), so the transition happens on your terms instead of someone else’s timeline.
Estate & Legacy
We plan how what you’ve built passes on — to family, partners, or a cause — so your legacy follows your intent rather than the default rules.
Business Value
We work to help strengthen your company’s cash flow, provide guidance to your management team, and offer input on strategic reinvestment opportunities with a goal to help enhance the current value of your business to you as an owner and the potential future value to a buyer.
Minimizing Risk
We stress-test what could go wrong (financially, legally, operationally) and put protections in place, so a single setback in the business doesn’t derail your personal plans.
Retirement Planning
We turn the value locked in your business into a funded, durable retirement, coordinating the sale or transition with the income you’ll actually live on.
Personal Finances
We bring your personal money into focus alongside the business (cash flow, saving, and investing) so your household is as well-run as your company.
Is it worth it?
If you’ve never worked with a financial planner (or have and it didn’t feel helpful), it can be hard to know if it’s the right choice. Most people who come to us are carrying one of the feelings below. See if any sound familiar.
| What you feel | What we do |
|---|---|
| “I know I should be on top of this. I just can’t seem to find the time or headspace to actually do it.” | We build a proactive plan across taxes, investments, and major decisions, then handle the many many sub-tasks underneath each one so nothing falls through the cracks. You can just say yes or no to a clear recommendation (or ask tons of questions, too). |
| “My partner and I want different things. We just can’t seem to get on the same page about how to plan or make decisions.” | We’re often the thing that gets couples unstuck. We bring both of you into the same conversation, lay out the full picture, and build a plan you both understand and feel good about. |
| “I’m smart and can figure this out myself. I just haven’t gotten around to it yet, and I know it’s costing me.” | Honestly, you could do it yourself. But as you may know, “getting around to it” has a cost: missed tax savings, suboptimal accounts, and investment decisions that never got made. We just do in days what tends to sit on the to-do list for years, through no fault of your own. |
| “I have a 401k, some investments, some savings… but I have no idea if it’s actually enough, or if I’m making the most of what I have.” | We map everything against your actual goals — retirement age, income needs, major expenses — so you can see exactly where you stand and where there’s room to do more. |
| “Something big just changed [a baby, a new job, an inheritance, etc.] and I realized I can’t keep winging it.” | Big transitions are the highest-stakes moments to get things right. We help you make the key decisions quickly, so the new chapter starts on solid footing. |

Our tech
Modern tools with human judgment
Tech is in our DNA. We know how to put cutting-edge tools to work — so you always have real-time visibility into your finances and the expertise to make sense of it — without having to figure any of it out yourself.
OUR FEES
What you pay
We charge a single annual fee based on the assets we manage for you, ranging from .75% to 1.5%.
The rate depends on the size and complexity of your portfolio, and we walk you through it before you ever commit.
Our focus stays on your plan, not on selling you something. The advice you get is built around where you want to go, not around a product.
It’s the role a CFO plays for a company, turned toward your family — keeping every part of your financial life working together, and aimed at giving you the confidence that nothing important slips through the cracks.
RESEARCH ON THE VALUE OF FINANCIAL ADVICE
4.92% / year
Russell Investments estimates that comprehensive financial advice may provide up to 4.92% of annual value through four key areas.
The Research
Financial information has never been more accessible. What hasn’t changed is how difficult it can be to apply that information consistently through changing markets and major life decisions. Russell Investments’ research suggests that much of an advisor’s value comes from the human side of financial planning, like helping people make thoughtful decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and stay focused on long-term goals.
